If a student continually breaks the rules it will result in an office referral every offense.
HOMEWORK RULES
General LAB RULES
1.NO GUM ALLOWED ANY TIME!!!!! I
2.NO EATING--Consequences: You will not complete the lab and you will receive a zero.
3.SAFETY GOGGLES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN CONDUCTING THE LAB AND DURING CLEAN UP. CONSEQUENCES: 20 POINT DEDUCTION FIRST TIME of the year, ZERO THE NEXT TIME
4.No horseplay of any kind. Consequences: Zero for the day and you will not complete the lab.
5.You are to stay at your assigned lab station during the entire lab unless given permission to leave your lab station 20-point deduction for each offense.
6.All lab stations should be clean and dry before your group leaves the lab. There should be nothing in the sink or on the lab top that was not there when you arrived. Consequences: 10-point deduction from the lab grade of all students working at that particular station.
7.Other lab safety and behavior rules will be added as necessary throughout the year.

Grades are based on SCS Policy

- Second Offense of Week: Parent call
- Third offense of Week: Parent call
- Fourth Offense of Week: Office referral

HOMEWORK RULES
- If you are absent you have as many days to make up the assignment as you missed of school if the absence was excused. Example: If you miss Monday and return to school on Tuesday then the missed assignment is due on Wednesday. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT THE TEACHER ABOUT ANY MISSED ASSIGNMENTS.
- If an assignment is made before you were absent and you are absent on the day the assignment is due then the assignment is due the day you return.
- If a test is assigned in advance and you miss the day before the test and return the day of the test then you are still required to take the test regardless of whether you received a study guide or not unless new material is covered the day before the test.
- If you are absent the day of a test you should be prepared to take the test the day you return to school. Students will be allowed to take make up test during class but they are still responsible for any information given during the class they miss to make up the test. Make up test will also be given before the normal school hours and after school. Students need to make arrangements with the teacher for any make up work.
- All papers must be labeled with the students name, date, period, and assigned number and placed in the in box for their hour or passed in to the teacher.
